Are you getting married in 2026/27 and hoping to make your own wedding florals? This fun workshop is for you! Join myself and Jessica Ferris, two professional flower farmer/florists, as they demonstrate techniques and then coach you through the process of making your own pieces. Workshop will be two hours, with 45 minutes dedicated to demonstrations, and 75 minutes dedicated to coached, hands-on practice with seasonal, fresh cut flowers from Ferris Farm and Blue Flag Farm. Participants will create a ribbon tied bride/attendant bouquet, a boutonniere, and a 16oz centerpiece. All tools, materials, and flowers will be provided. You will leave with the three beautiful floral pieces made by you, as well as the confidence and experience to tackle your own DIY event florals! Workshops are capped at 20 participants and require 16 participants to run.

Join Katie at her beloved Blue Flag Farm for a tour of spring perennial gardens! If you are someone wishing to add more spring blooming perennial plants to your gardens, you will leave the tour with ideas of companion planting and growing gardens in full sun to full shade. Katie will share her strategies for soil health, pest management, and excitement for spring perennials! Learn about her favorite Spring flowers including peonies, hellebore, dicentra, bulb-grown plants and more. Opportunities to purchase plants and cut flowers will be available at end of tour.
Anyone visiting the farm needs the ability to walk up a hill and be confident maneuvering on uneven ground.
